Ball mill application

Ball mill is an important equipment to grind the crushed materials which is widely used in powdermaking production line including cement, silicate, newtype building material, refractory material, fertilizer, ore dressing of ferrous metal and nonferrous metal, glass ceramics, etc. Further more, ball mill can grind various ores and other materials with dry type and wet type.There are two types of ball mill, grate type and overfall type seprated by different ways of material discharging. Grate type is a type of grinding mill processes similarly to the sag mill or other mining crushers. Ball Grinding Machine is used to grind or mix metals or raw materials for further processing. Various materials are placed into the mill drum and rotated with the minedmaterials that are to be crushed. The ball mill contains materials meant for crushing and grinding, such as balls of ceramic, smallrocks, or balls made from stainless steel. The internal device of the ball mill grinds material into powderlike substances, and can rotate continuously for optimal grinding and refinery production.

Ball mill strucuture

Ball mill is made up of feedisng part, discharging part, gyre part, transmission part, (decelerator, small transmission gear, motor, electrical control) and so on.

The hollow axis adopts the cast steel and the lining can replace, the rotating big gear processes in the way of casting rolling gear. The barrel body is wearable well and bears wearable scaleboard. This machine run steadily and works reliably.

Ball mill Working Principle
The ball mill is a horizontal rotating device transmitted by the outer gear. The materials are transferred to the grinding chamber through the quill shaft uniformly. There are ladder liner and ripple liner and different specifications of steel balls in the chamber. The centrifugal force caused by rotation of barrel brings the steel balls to a certain height and impact and grind the materials. The ground materials are discharged through the discharging board thus the grinding process is finished.
